You may have some questions...

We tried to answer some of those questions that may pop in your curious head. For anything else, you can always shoot us an email.

1. General

Yes! We have received an IP-65 rating, to be precise!
What does that mean? Well, you can shower with it.

The usb port looks exposed, but don't worry, water won't get through it.
The port, upon drying can become usable again.

In addition to that, we have also conducted durability tests such as salt, sweat, scratch, grind, and more.
Pretty well, to our surprise. we tested our samples at a high temperature of 85°C and a low of -20°C for 24 hours. We also checked if the watch functions under high humidity (85% Relative Humidity, to be precise) and also tested it for 24 hours under thermal shock.
If you click the watch 25 times per day on a full charge, you may need to recharge it after a few weeks (or even a month), depending heavily on your usage.
We made our own automatic robot testing jig to put the theory to test.

Internal LiPo Battery’s capacity:

≈ 1200 mAh

Realtime clock’s backup cell’s capacity:
(Only kicks in if the the LiPo battery is drained, to keep the RTC ticking)

≈ 7.5 mAh

Power consumption when not doing anything:

≈ 0.7-0.9 uA

Power consumption when checking time & date:

≈ 27-31 mA

Battery’s life:

Battery Capacity (mAh)

Consumption (mAh) * (1 - discharge safety)

e.g. Battery’s life:

1000 mAh (it’s never exact as written in data-sheet)

28 mAh (let’s say in avg.) * (1 - 20%)

2. Maintenance

Note: We will already set the time, according to your timezone, before shipping and hopefully you won't need to set them very often.

So, we refer to it as the "stay awake" duration, which is initially set from factory to 4 seconds. You can modify it by following the previous step titled "How do I reset time (and date)?" In that section, you will find an option labeled "Select stay awake duration." However, please keep in mind that choosing a longer stay awake duration will result in faster battery drainage.
Charging the watch is similar to charging other USB devices. Use the provided micro USB cable to connect one end to the watch and the other end to a standard 5V DC USB power source, such as a commonly found phone charger. The yellow light indicates that the watch is "charging," while the green light indicates that it is "fully charged."

3. Accessories

Currently, the watch comes with our custom-designed belt, available in 2 sizes. In the near future, we do not have plans to create a new belt design. However, if you are interested and have any suggestions, we are open to the idea. We encourage you to contact us to share your interests and ideas.

Also, since it is so simple to remove the belt, you can experiment yourself as well. Currently, we are talking to a friend and planning to design an Albert Chain/Necklace for it. We will keep you posted about its status.
